Travelling up

I am intrigued by the small clusters of houses nestled high in the hills. I feel that life must be very different in such a peaceful location.

Sunflowers through the olive trees

Looking out from the walled town of Casole d'Elsa in Tuscany, I glimpsed the last of the summer's sunflowers through the olive grove, with patterns of parched fields beyond.
